I am committed to supporting individuals and their family members through the treatment process, from assessment to aftercare by creating a safe healing relationship. In this way, holding individuals accountable becomes an expression of care and concern in fostering the lifestyle change needed to support recovery for the entire family.

Elk Family Reflections works within a strategic, organized approach to reaching an individual with a serious problem who has been resistant to help.
Many believe we will only accept support when we hit bottom. That’s not reality.
For many, “bottom” turns out to be death. Waiting for someone to hit bottom is a tragic waste of valuable time.
When those we love suffer the isolation, denial, and destruction resulting from their substance use or mental health, they rarely are able to find a solution.
If reality were that simple, they would just stop the negative behaviors.
I believe the only failure in trying to help someone suffering due to their behavioral health is the failure to take action.
It is a compassionate process to reach a person in need.
Our experience will not be an ambush or a group attack – it is a direct, loving communication about a life-threatening illness.
We will build motivation for change in family, friends, and colleagues.
Effective coaching builds motivation in the afflicted individual to make the right choices.
